Windows 7 authenication issue.  with AD server 2003 r2
I have a new lenove running windows 7 professional. It has been successfully joined to the domain. I have set up one user and had them authenticate and they did so with no issue. They also were able to authenticate via wireless. However, when I have another user sign in (to the same computer) they authenticate (wired) but they are unable to authenticate wirelessly. The setting for wifi are the exact same for both. I can take that same user (unauthenticated) to a machine running xp professional and they have no wireless issues. The error seems to be that authentication was refused? Why and how do i fix it?

Hi, What is the exact error message? Can you find any information about this failed authentication in Event Viewer? What is the result in Safe Mode with networking? Also, I would like to confirm what authentication method is being used. Currently, I suggest you try to reset computer account in Windows to check the result: Resetting computer accounts in Windows Meanwhile, you could refer to the following article: A computer password is not automatically changed during 802.1X authentication when you select the "Allow client to change password after it has expired" check box in Internet Authentication Service on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer http://support.microsoft.com/?id=936626 Alex ZhaoPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
